Turkish Missiles Fly Into Russian Jet

On Nov. 24, 2015 a Russian plane gets shot down by Turkish F-16 missiles. The Airplane was flying on the border of Syria and into Turkey’s airspace. A law states that, one country may shoot down any unmarked plane in their own airspace. Since the law was enforced Turkey has the right to shoot down the Russian military jet since it was unmarked. Vladimir Putin was very unhappy with the outcome. He states that the event was a terrorist attack and that because of it the relationship between the two countries are poor. Barack Obama’s action on this was to talk to Putin about how Turkey had every right to shoot down the plane.

Barack Obama looked at the problem and found the correct solution. Since the Russian jet was unmarked Turkey had no idea what was going to happen or who it was. Turkey took the obvious solution to protect its people probably the only one, which is to shoot the plane down. Vladimir Putin’s (Watch 1st video) statements about their relationship being destroyed is only his fault for sending an unmarked plane near the border of both countries. Turkey’s actions were not actions of terrorism it was the Russians who were striking terror into the Turkish people. Now I ask you, do you think Putin or Turkeys actions were the more reasonable one?

The Royal Baby, Miracle or Hoax?

Princess Charlotte Elizabeth Diana was born May 2nd at 8:34am at St. Mary’s Hospital at 8lbs and 3oz, Supposedly, there is  a conspiracy brewing in Russia on whether or not the royal baby’s birth was natural. Russian women are saying that Kate looked too good minutes after the baby’s birth for it to have been natural. They are also saying that Kate was walking too normally to have been carrying a baby, and that her belly was too large for a 8lbs 3oz baby. In addition,  people are saying that the birth time was off because the Duchess arrived at St. Mary’s at 8:32am and the Baby was born at 8:34 which only gives 2 minutes for her to conceive the baby. Finally, reports say that the couple left the hospital roughly at 10:15 which really isn’t enough time for the baby to be checked out by medical staff, and therefore it may mean that the baby isn’t from the royal couple.

I personally think that the birth was natural, but i am open to both sides. Some questions I have are: How was the royal couple able to take home the baby just 2 hours after birth, why did it take so long to name the baby, and why did the couple warn the media not to harass them? Although some of these things raise eyebrows I still think the birth is natural and Russia is just trying to find ways to beat up England.

Rushing over Russia: 10 Ton Meter Passes over Central Russia

Russia Meteorite_Hein(1).jpg

Friday February 15th, 2013 was a clear day in central Russia. At about 9:20 a.m., over the town of Chelyabinsk, a flash of light was seen and a very loud noise was heard. Chelyabinsk residents said that it sounded like thunder. At a speed of 33,000 miles per hour, a 10-ton meteorite had exploded about 24 miles above the surface of Russia. The explosion was as powerful as dozens of atomic bombs. It was the biggest recorded meteorite rock to pass Earth in more than 100 years, some pieces of the meteorite even fell to the earth. About 1,100 people were injured by the meteor. Most of these people had been cut open by the glass of their windows because of the shock wave and not the meteor itself.

I, myself, have never seen a meteorite and I hope not too. Meteors can have a big effect on the earth. “It doesn’t take a very large object. A 10-meter size object already packs the same energy as a nuclear bomb.”) -Andrew Cheng of the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory, who led a 2001 mission to orbit and land on an asteroid). The meteor itself is not really my problem; it’s the idea of the shock wave that concerns me. The shock wave and the meteor will cost Russia $33 million dollars to repair. I hope this doesn’t happen to America because we don’t exactly have $33 million dollars to repair things. Also, this meteorite happened in a low populated area so there was less damage to de done. If this happened in America, where we don’t have a lot of places that aren’t very populated, the cost would be most likely double or even triple. Has America ever had a meteor come relatively close to us? Is there anything we can do to reduce the odds of that happening here? How come NASA didn’t warn anyone about the meteorite? Did they know?
