Donald Trump claims Voter Fraud from the Presidential Election

Just last week, January 20, 2017, Donald Trump officially entered the White House for four years. Not even a week being in the White House, Trump has already suspected voter fraud. On Monday, he called for a “major investigation” because he believes that millions of people have voted illegally. Back in November, Trump won the role of president by a majority of electoral votes (33 votes). Many questioned Trump as he won his role of presidency by 16 votes, why he even was running for president. Prior to running, Donald Trump hosted a reality television show, The Apprentice, for 11 years. He also is a successful businessman as he has built many office’s, casinos, golf courses, and much more. So why did he run for president? According to the NY Times, Trump ran in an effort to gain stature. Cleary, Trump has but is slowly losing it as he said that there have been a mistake in votes. So far, he has not cited or proven any key evidence to why this is possible. Over the course of two tweets, Trump wrote, “I will be asking for a major investigation into VOTER FRAUD, including those registered to vote in two states, those who are illegal and … even, those registered to vote who are dead (and many for a long time). Depending on results, we will strengthen up voting procedures!”

But what if Trump only won president with the help of voter fraud? Why would he be pointing this out? Trump exclaims that he is confident in his win and even if there was a voter sham, he still would’ve come out on top.  “You have people that are registered who are dead, who are illegals, who are in two states. You have people registered in two states. They’re registered in a New York and a New Jersey. They vote twice. There are millions of votes, in my opinion,” stated Trump. Later he went on saying to various media reporters that he wants voting to be legitimate and real because voting for a president is a serious topic to discuss and vote on. Though he is right about voting being a serious deal, why wouldn’t voting be legitimate? Trump said that he does not want anyone to be registered in two states, or dead people that are registered or illegals voting. This is accurate, but this doesn’t mean that at least 15 million people voted illegally this past year. Still no evidence has been proved but Trump still believes that he is correct. The new president has had a hard time grasping that others don’t have the same view on this topic. ABC’s David Muir told Trump that the author of the report found no incriminating evidence. Donald Trump later called him “groveling”. Just because the proof from the report doesn’t match his opinion doesn’t mean that David Muir is lying.

Trump has decided that he would like to speak with Republican Lawmakers in Pennsylvania and consider the best way to go about this problem. Hopefully there aren’t any further problems similar to this with Trump when he is in the White House. Who knows what’s in store for the United States for the next four or possibly eight years.

The Presidential Battle

This year, in November, the new president will be elected or the old president will be reelected. The two candidates are Barack Obama, and Mitt Romney. Barack Obama’s plan is to cut the deficit by $4 trillion, and he wants to tax millionaires more. He also wants to make 1 million new manufacturing jobs, and have troops come home from Afghanistan. Mitt Romney’s plan is to have Energy Independence, to cut the deficit, and to make trade that works for America.

The presidential race is quite possibly the most important thing that this country does. The candidates are both trying to achieve similar goals, but in a much different way. The deciding factor for voters is; which candidate can get it done faster or more efficiently. Now, I am a Republican, but I think that Obama’s plan will work faster and more efficiently. He is more focused on creating jobs than Mitt Romney is, and creating jobs will greatly help the economy. On the other side, making trade work for America is an example of mercantilism. Mercantilism states that a country becomes rich by exporting more than it imports. This, and dealing less with China, will help the economy much as well, because China is one of the countries that we are in debt to. If you don’t vote, then you will not have a say in the government, and you might not get what you want. Vote for whichever candidate you want to.

Who Will Be Our New Leader?

Millions of voters, four years, one president. This is the 2012 Presidential Election. Once again, US citizens must vote for a new leader for our country. Since 2008, our leader has been Democrat Barack Obama. Obama is a candidate this year, running against Republican Mitt Romney. Who will be our new leader? Our nation will find out on November 6th, 2012.

As almost everybody knows, our country must vote for a new president. There are ups and downs about both Mitt Romney and Barack Obama. A down about Obama is that voting citizens think he did a bad job at handling the economy, so people who believe this might vote for Romney instead of Obama. More downs include: only 30% of voting citizens approve of his federal budget handling, and ObamaCare has more opponents than supporters. On the other hand, some positive qualities about Obama is that he is an inspiration and has a good effect on some people. Meanwhile, Mitt Romney is described as “patient and peaceful”. Unfortunately, at a breakfast in New Hampshire discussing health care, he was heard saying: “I like being able to fire people who provide services to me”. He also said “You know, if someone doesn’t give me a good service that I need, I want to say, ‘I’m going to get someone else to provide that service I need’”. In my opinion, this is an awful thing for any president to say. This statement sounds mean and selfish. Hopefully, both Obama and Romney have more positive characteristics than negative ones so our country can easily choose a good leader.

Gay Marriage

A couple weeks ago on May 9th, history was made. President Obama announced  that he supported same-sex marriage. He makes clear during an interview  that everyone should be treated equal and if a couple (of the same gender) wants to get married, that is their choice and nothing should get in the way of their decision. Even though he claims this is his own personal opinion, he still encouraged states to decide on this issue on their own. Many people believe that this statement will help President Obama be re-elected President of the United States because he may be able to gain votes from gay and lesbian couples. Others believe he will lose votes from those who strictly believe that marriage should be between a man and a women.  I personally believe that the younger generation of our country, agrees more with Obama and supporting gay marriage, rather than the elders. I think this will be an issue for Obama because those who support his viewpoint are not as likely to vote.

In my opinion, I don’t think there is anything wrong with gay or lesbian couples getting married. I agree with President Obama that everyone should be treated equally. If gay and lesbian couples are denied the right to get married  then they aren’t being treated as equals. I think that people can’t help who they fall in love with and it’s not their fault if they happen to fall in love with a person of the same gender. If they are ready for the commitment, they should be able to marry the person they love just like everyone else does. What are your opinions on gay marriage?

The Race to Presidency

As you may have seen on t.v., the Republican Debates are a hot topic.  With every debate that goes on, it is still hard to see a clear winner.   Recently however it seems two candidates are shining the most, Mitt Romney and Herman Cain.  Herman Cain has won in the straw poll for Florida and Mitt Romney continues to wow people everywhere.   However, Michelle Bachman has been low with the voters.  Even though this may appear to be sad, some people only like Michelle Bachman for her iconic hairstyle.  In fact, many people in America have decided to try her famous hairstyle.

Other candidates are very low with the voters, too.  Some people have very little supporters and because of that, not everyone knows all the can“The Race to Presidency” didates names!  As American citizens, I believe the voters should take note of who is running and who is not.  I mean, I’m not even permitted to vote and I am up to date with all of the republican news.  The best part is, Saturday Night Live is a great way to catch up on all things government!  Many times they will do “spoofs” on the recent events happening in politics.  If you can’t watch the news, at least try to watch Saturday Night Live.To conclude, it is early in the race for presidency and their is not a clear winner so everyone should try and keep up on the political news.

Election Time

We all know the election for the President is next November, but are Palin and Christie going to run to represent the Republican party. Well time is of the essence. I believe when your own supporters are begging you to run on the Republican party ticket then its time for you to run. Also in the last election Sarah Palin ran to represent the Republican party but lost to John McCain. Now if you were in this situation what would you do?

Personally I believe that the Governor of New Jersey Chris Christie should run for the Republican party. He’s an effective communicator. He is able to listen to peoples ideas and try to work with them as much as possible. Also he can be very commanding at times. For example during tropical storm Irene his exact words were “get the hell off the beach.” Now there are some rumors that Sarah Palin is trying to run for the Republican party too. Now in the past she has tried to run and she lost to John McCain. Second time a charm. I don’t think so. She isn’t as involved as Chris Christie. Now we all have our opinions but I think if these two want to be candidates they need to act fast.

Herman Cain For President

If 10% is good enough for God then 9% should be just fine for the Federal Government.       -Herman Cain-

Herman Cain one of the Republican Candidates for president has his 9-9-9 plan where there is a 9% Corporate Flat Tax, 9% Personal Flat Tax, a 9% National sales Tax, zero capital gains tax, and ends the Death Tax. In the Cain administration no American Citizen will pay more than a 9% federal income tax.

I think that this will work because Cain knows first hand what it’s like to own a small business and pay taxes, plus pay his employees and himself. I feel that this would be a fair way for everyone to pay their part. If everyone pays the same amount it may inspire more people to start a business. It would also be easier to figure out your taxes because you would know the exact percentage you would pay. Once the plan is put into place over the current plan then there will be more jobs. And Herman Cain said “our tax code is the 21st century version of slavery.” Meaning that the IRS is taxing us to the point that we are slaves to paying taxes. Herman Cain will be a great president. He will do what he says he will do.
