Zach Parise is an NHL (National Hockey League) player for the Minnesota Wild. Parise was a free agent this past off season, so the Wild made a 13 year $98 million dollar offer and got Parise. Zach was partial to the Wild because he was born and raised  in Minnesota. Parise’s good friend Ryan Suter also was offered a matching deal . Both boys are now back to their home state where they are loved even more than ever. Parise played with the New Jersey Devils for 7 years. Parise left with a strong impact, after losing to the LA Kings in the Stanley Cup Finals ,4 games to 2.  Zach and Ryan are both back home and happy. The Wild are still in the running for the playoffs. But if they don’t pull their act together soon there is no chance due to the lock out.

I believe that Zach made the wrong decision. But don’t take my word for it because after all I am a New Jersey Devils’ fan. Parise is my favorite NHL player, he has great skill and is still young, so he will improve. I would’ve loved to see Zach back with the Devils, but as you know he is now on the Minnesota Wild. I do still very much respect his decision because of the circumstances, involving him being born in Minnesota.  I  think that the Devils fans that burnt his Jersey are horrible people too. He was a huge help to the Devils and it’s not his fault the Devils couldn’t offer any more.  They also shouldn’t have done that because Zach was the reason why team USA went into overtime in the 2010 Winter Olympics. Zach Parise is still my favorite NHL player and will remain mine for ever.
